Tile Production
To create these beautiful, high quality feature tiles and tile murals we use a unique heat transfer process. The artwork image is printed using special inks and this image is then applied to the tiles. The feature tiles and tile murals are then placed into a heat press and extreme heat and pressure is applied to them. Under this intense heat and pressure the dye on the printed image turns to a gas (much like dry ice) this gas formed dye then permeates the tile surface and becomes permanently embedded in the tile. The vibrant image is then actually part of the tile and can't ever be washed off. Cleaning the tiles can be done in the same way you would clean a regular tile however it is not advisable to use harsh scourers.
